Curriculum Musical Maps - updates

We are delighted to announce that the updated version of our free teaching resource The Curriculum Musical Maps has just been published on the resources page of this site. The updates include:

• updated learning objective statements on the medium term plans, now in line with Development Matters (YR) and The Model Music Curriculum and The National Plan for Music Education (KS1 & 2)

• updated assessment statements linked to the learning objectives presented in a consistent way across all units

• updated power points with increased reference to the dimensions focus and highlighted opportunities for assessment

• a glossary of musical terms/ vocabulary

• an updated user guide

• New Titanic unit for Y1 & Y2 has been added

• new title pages featuring new HMS logo
