Music Managers Course

We are delighted to announce that we will be running a one day course for Primary Music Managers in November - full details below. Come and explore how to effectively lead music in your school. By the end of the course delegates will

• have a better understanding of their roles and responsibilities

• understand what music provision should be provided for all their students

• have started to create an action plan to develop music provision in their school

• understand musical progression and Age Related Expectations across the Primary phase

• have considered how to embed music in everyday school life

• know what support is available and how to access it for the benefit of everyone

• have explored practical music making relating to the curriculum

Delegates wishing to further explore making music in the classroom following this initial course are also invited to choose options from a series of free workshops, collectively called Starting Music in the Classroom, on the 6th February 2024 at The Alton Maltings (precise details of these will be published at a later date)
