New music scheme of work!

It's the time of year again when we all start to plan for next year's music curriculum and the primary team at HMS are here to help! Over the last year, we have been busy creating a new scheme of work for music called Curriculum Music Maps.

This new resource provides six complete half-termly units of work for each year group, from Reception to Yr6. Each unit comes with:

• a medium-term plan

• a set of teaching notes with the activities explained (which could include song lyrics and notation)

• audio tracks

• flash cards

• a teaching PowerPoint with embedded sound files and hyperlinks

• everything you need to make music happen in all your classrooms!
