Starting music in the classroom - free CPD

Starting music in the classroom is a series of free (for Hampshire schools) stand-alone sessions designed for anyone wishing to improve their knowledge of areas of the primary music curriculum delivered on one day - the 6th February 2023 at The Maltings in Alton.
Delegates will be able to choose to attend the sessions best suited to their needs without committing to attend for the full day. The full programme for the day is below
Session 1 9.30 – 10.30
Getting creative - KS1
Explore using creative activities in the KS1 classroom and how to use these activities for assessment purposes

Reading and teaching notation - primary
This session will introduce how to read and teach musical notation. No prior music reading knowledge necessary!
